“My interview experience.
After applying for the position of HR assistant I was contacted to come for an interview. I came for my interview on Tuesday the 1st of December. As most, I was nervous and excited all at the same time.
Shortly after arriving at the offices I was taken upstairs to a meeting room, where I met Simon Merriman. I’ve had a few interviews before but this interview was by far the best I have ever had. Simon immediately put me at ease, the questions he asked were very open which allowed me to answer in the best possible way I could, to sell myself, Simon listened to my answers with not just his ears but always his eyes this made me feel like he was listening to my every word. Simon would ask questions relating to answers I had given allowing me to elaborate further.
My interview lasted around 40 minutes in total, and as I left the offices I knew it was the job for me and the company I wanted to work for. After going to other interviews I must say this interview was completely in a league of its own. I think an interview can very often give you an impression of the company and I must say that if it wasn’t for the interview Simon gave, I may never have accepted the job offer I was given.
I’ve now been working for the company for just under 2 months and I must say I love my job and truly am thankful for the great experience of the interview Simon allowed me to have, as it has definitely helped me in my job role when interviewing others.

Acting as a consultant, Simon has supported me through a range of complex, sensitive and technical HR projects following the acquisition of Hawes Signs by the HLD Group in January 2015.
