Display Screen Equipment training from solved hr is aimed at those that use display screen equipment (DSE) and those that are responsible for assessing it. A ‘user’ of display screen equipment is anyone that regularly uses it for work for more than 1 hour a day.
What is meant by Display Screen Equipment?
Most people assume that DSE just refers to computer monitors, but it also includes laptops, tablet pc’s, televisions, CNC control pads, smartphones, portable diagnostic equipment and any equipment containing cathode ray tubes.
The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations contain special directives covering DSE safety. Both employers and employee‐users have responsibilities under the legislation.
This course fulfils your statutory training obligations and covers among other things, the correct way to set up and use your display screen equipment safely, reducing the risk of work related conditions.
